Born in Linhares da Beira Alta, Portugal  where he came down from the stars and discovered his passion for food.

Over the years he worked with many talented chefs and gained knowledge, experience and growing fondness for American and Portuguese cuisine. Working in all areas of the kitchen making his way up until he was appointed executive sous chef.

Jesse credits his promotions and his move up the kitchen ladder to mix of hard work, dedication and above all, a love and appreciation for food. Now, he is embracing new opportunities to explore the many flavors and ingredients at The Edge Seafood & Lounge.








POLYZOIS MARKOS

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Native to Sparta Greece, Markos' career has taken him all over the globe, from Norway to the Caribbean.  Shortly after turning fourteen, Markos began his journey, working on the Royal Cruise alongside with the finest chefs in the world.


After eighteen years of experience, with fine dining and his knowledge about the food  in 2000 Markos made decision to settle in the USA.  He came to the Greater New Bedford area and  since then he's earned reputable customer satisfaction
